Privacy notes for firm accounts

This page explains in general terms what information a firm gives LinkIsPro and how we use it. It is written for a compliance lead to read.

The short map of what we hold

Three kinds. Information passes through the service in three forms, namely account details, order records and the basic technical data that any website sees when someone visits.

Accounts first. Account details are what you give when you register, such as a sign-in identity and the name you want shown. Order records cover the donors you pick, the target pages and keywords you enter, the content mode, and the status of each placement.

Technical data is mundane. It covers items a web server sees, such as the type of browser and the pages requested, and we use it to keep the service running and to track down faults.

Why we use it

Only what is needed. We use your information to run your account, produce the placements you order, show their status, and issue invoices or proforma invoices when you ask for them. Nothing beyond that is required.

Public by design. Placements are published on third-party websites, so the article and the link then sit in public, and anything you put into a target URL, keyword, instruction or finished article may become visible there. Keep clients out of it.

Payments and balance

Balance first. You top up a balance in the dashboard and pay baskets from it, and a record of balance movements is kept so that invoices and proforma invoices can be produced when you ask.

Same account. Orders through the API or by an AI agent over MCP use that one account, and an agent may fill a basket while paying it remains a separate step that a person approves.

What we ask of firms

Mind the content. Please avoid putting personal data about your own clients into any field on the marketplace, since an instruction or an article may end up published. That protects them.

Your choices and how to reach us

Your say. You may ask to see, correct or remove information tied to your account, subject to whatever the law and the running of the service allow.

Contact. To make a request, sign in at your account page and use the contact options there, because this site does not publish a separate mailbox for it.

Updates happen. We may revise this page as the service changes, and the date shown at the top of the page marks the latest edit. The terms describe how the service itself works for firm buyers.
